Solid French oak, quality, kiln dried.
Ideal for giving style to your interior:
-the wooden battens give height when positioned vertically.
-the horizontal position widens the space.
-on the ceiling, to make the room more warm.
The wooden strip is very trendy in interior decoration.
Cleats sold without fixing system.
Installation Tips:
1- Prepare your support: your wall/support must be clean, smooth and regular (without relief).
2- Draw a horizontal mark (pencil line) on the bottom of the wall where you want to start your battens, use a level to do this. Do the same to create the vertical mark for the 1st cleat.
3- Prepare your battens (start first with 3 or 4 battens): on the side to be fixed to the wall, alternate areas of glue and areas of double-sided tape (over 15-20cm). The double-sided tape will allow it to adhere to the wall instantly without having to hold the battens while the glue sets. Prepare the rest of the battens as you install them.
4-Fix your first cleat using the level, aligning it with your marks.
5-Space the battens evenly, always using the level and a meter. Check the intermediate spaces between the battens in several places and adjust if necessary before the glue sets.
6- Place small blocks under the cleats for a few minutes to be sure that it does not move.
